The Mykolaiv Parks utility company spent millions of hryvnias in the first five months of 2025 on drones, bronze elements for the memorial, city cleaning, and equipment maintenance.

The company started the year by signing contracts for household waste management - a total of almost UAH 800,000 for collection and transportation and almost a million more for disposal. Almost half a million was planned to pay for electricity, and another 321 thousand for water supply and sewerage.

More than 173 thousand were allocated for the maintenance of cleaning equipment and almost 600 thousand for spare parts. Separately, 99 thousand hryvnias were purchased for lubricants and oils, about 400 thousand hryvnias for tire fitting and almost 80 thousand hryvnias for tools for operating units.

In addition, in February, Mykolaiv Parks spent 620 thousand hryvnias on bronze artistic elements for the main ceiling of the Memorial in honor of 68 paratroopers from Olshany. At the end of the same month, another UAH 2 million was spent on routine repairs and maintenance of the amenities.

They also had to buy fire extinguishers, overalls and shoes, a projector, internet, meters, brake pads, and drying oil.

Thus, in the first five months of 2025, Mykolaiv Parks spent more than UAH 13 million. These purchases show that the activities of Mykolaiv Parks have gone beyond the usual care of green areas. The company has spent millions not only on utilities and equipment maintenance, but also on bronze elements for memorials and high-tech equipment, including drones.

In 2024, Mykolaiv Parks will spend hundreds of millions on machinery, equipment, and green space maintenance. While at the beginning of the year, more than UAH 48 million was planned for the maintenance of parks and squares, by the end of the year this amount had increased to UAH 89 million. Specialized equipment was one of the most expensive purchases, with 45.4 million allocated for it. In total, the company spent about UAH 240 million on the city's improvement.
