Mykolaiv presented a project to improve energy efficiency in the Namiv neighborhood. Individual heating points are to be installed in multi-storey residential buildings, allowing residents to regulate heat supply and reduce heating costs.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to data from the DREAM ecosystem.

The Namyv neighborhood is mostly connected to a centralized heating system. However, it has significant drawbacks: uneven heat distribution, high heat losses due to worn-out networks, and the inability to regulate the temperature in apartments. The goal of the project is to increase energy efficiency, save heating costs, improve the comfort of residents, and ensure efficient use of heat energy.

The work involves the installation of modern equipment, including heat exchangers, pumping groups, automation systems, and heat meters. The project is in the implementation status and requires additional investments.

According to the initiators, the installation of IHS will help reduce heat losses, increase the efficiency of heat supply, and improve the comfort of residents. The project implementation is in line with the development strategy of the Mykolaiv city community until 2027.

Mykolaiv also plans to overhaul one of the city's main heating mains. PJSC Mykolaivska CHP initiated the project on Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue, where the total length of the repair section will be 352 meters. The project cost is UAH 40.3 million.

In addition, the construction of a solar farm will begin in the Halytsynivska community, in the village of Prybuzke, Mykolaiv region. The project aims to create a source of uninterrupted power supply in case of accidents or emergencies, which will contribute to the development of infrastructure and improve the quality of life of local residents. The total budget of the project is UAH 210.5 million.
