Mykolaiv Oblast plans to overhaul a kindergarten shelter worth more than UAH 10 million. The project has already been approved, but funding has not yet been found.

This is evidenced by data from the DREAM ecosystem.

In the village of Vynohradne, Mykolaiv district, major repairs to the protective structure on the territory of the Golden Cockerel kindergarten are planned. The expected cost of the project is 10.3 million hryvnias, but funding has not yet been confirmed.

The shelter renovation project involves partial redevelopment of the premises, replacement of doors, dismantling of windows and sealing of window openings, and major repairs to the ceiling, walls, and floor. It is also planned to arrange new doorways, an entrance and a lift for people with limited mobility, a sidewalk around the entrance and a shed for a diesel generator.

The project is included in the Unified Project Portfolio as part of the development of the Koblivska community and is in line with its strategy until 2027. Its goal is to create safe conditions for full-time education of children in a preschool institution. The project documentation has already been approved.

The customer is the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Koblivka Village Council. As part of the implementation, it is planned to spend more than UAH 8 million on construction and equipment, and more than UAH 2 million on operating costs, including taxes. According to the description, the project is of strategic importance both in terms of security and to ensure the stable operation of the kindergarten in wartime. The shelter will be able to accommodate up to 200 people.

Also, Kryvoozerskyi Lyceum No. 1 in Mykolaiv region is starting to overhaul its shelter. Only 1.5 million hryvnias of the required 15 million have been allocated so far. The plan is to renovate the premises, equip study areas, install water supply, sewerage, heating, ventilation, lighting and fire alarms.

The lyceum in Zelenyi Yar also lacks funds to overhaul its shelter: the local authorities have so far allocated only 5% of the required 14 million. The work involves restoring structures, upgrading utilities and creating conditions for people with limited mobility.
