Tenders for the repair of the heating main have started in Mykolaiv. More than UAH 19 million has been allocated for this purpose, and contractors will be selected through open bidding in May.

This is evidenced by the data of the electronic procurement system Prozorro.

PJSC Mykolaivska CHP has announced two tenders for the overhaul of the heating main on Pogranichna Street in Mykolaiv. The total expected cost of the works is over UAH 19.4 million.

The first tender concerns the section from the heat chamber TK-213 to TK-215. The expected value of the procurement is UAH 9.8 million.

The second tender was announced for the repair of the section from TK-215 to TK-217a. Its value is UAH 9.6 million. The deadline for submitting bids is May 9, and the auction is scheduled for the same day.

The minimum price reduction step is 50% of the expected purchase amount. The selected contractor must complete the works on the facilities by December 31, 2025.

Both procurements provide for full post-payment within 60 calendar days after completion of the work.

Contractors are being sought through open bidding with special features. According to the documentation, it is about replacing pipelines.

Recently, Mykolaiv CHPP signed contracts for the reconstruction of heating networks worth tens of millions of hryvnias. The contracts went to companies associated with criminal proceedings. Some are suspected of abusing their positions to enter into fictitious subcontracts, while others are suspected of colluding with officials to sign fictitious certificates of completion and misappropriation of budget funds.

Meanwhile, the South Ukrainian NPP has announced a tender for the reconstruction of security systems. The company plans to spend more than UAH 50 million on the work. The project involves replacing a 6kV switchgear, which is critical for the stable and safe operation of the plant as it ensures uninterrupted power supply to its main systems.

In addition, in Mykolaiv, a company involved in journalistic investigations and criminal cases was awarded a UAH 78 million contract to modernize a pumping station. The company was also accused of having ties to local authorities, corruption, and overcharging.
