In the south of Odesa region, the construction of a 95 km-long main water supply system is planned to provide drinking water to about 18,000 residents of seven settlements in Bolhrad, Kiliya, and Izmail districts.

Information about this is available in the DREAM ecosystem.

According to the technical scheme, water supply will be organized for the villages of Kalcheva, Bannivka, Karakurt, Vasylivka, Holytsia (part of the Vasylivka settlement community), as well as Pryozerne and Suvorove (Suvorovo community). The planned capacity of the water supply system will be 4,782 m³ of water per day. The system will utilize the existing infrastructure of the Kiliya Group Water Supply System, including water intake facilities, river water supply, treatment facilities, pumping stations and main pipelines.

The project was initiated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine and the State Agency of Water Resources. The direct customer is the state enterprise Odesa United Directorate for the Construction of Water Management Facilities.

The works are to be financed under the EU support program "Ukrainian Fund" for 2024-2027.

The estimated budget is UAH 396.6 million, of which UAH 288.3 million is for capital expenditures. Funding has not yet been confirmed.

The preparation of design and estimate documentation is currently underway. In recent years, a number of projects and their adjustments have already been completed related to various sections of the future water supply system, including lines between the settlements of Chervonyi Yar, Suvorove, Kamianka, Vasylivka, and Pryozerne.

Intent wrote that in the village of Limanka, Odesa district, a contractor has been selected to reconstruct the water supply system. According to the results of the tender, the work will be carried out by Odessagrogaz LLC, which offered the most favorable price.
