Mykolaiv Council Head Anton Tabunschyk Declares ₴1.5M Income, Luxury Assets

The head of Mykolaiv Regional Council Anton Tabunschyk has published a declaration in which he listed real estate, luxury cars and tens of thousands of cash in foreign currency.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Unified Register of Declarations.

In particular, Tabunschyk owns an apartment that he purchased in 2012 for UAH 82,518, and also has a jointly owned house of more than 500 m² in the village of Mishkovo-Pohorilove, which was purchased in 2018. He also owns a land plot of 887 m² there. His wife, Iryna Tabunshchyk, has owned an apartment in Pivdenoukrainsk since 2000.

The official uses JEEP CHEROKEE cars worth UAH 575 thousand and a KAWASAKI D-TRACKER motorcycle, which he purchased for UAH 70 thousand. Since 2024, his wife has been using a 2015 SKODA FABIA for free, provided by Volodymyr Pavlenkov, a co-owner of her apartment.

Last year, Anton Tabunschyk received UAH 1.5 million in salary. He also declared 145 thousand hryvnias of income from the sale of movable property to Motorstradecompany. His wife received a cashback of over UAH 4 thousand from PrivatBank.

The family keeps 49 thousand US dollars and 17 thousand euros in cash.

Anton Tabunschyk became the new head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council in April 2024. The wife of the first deputy head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, Anton Tabunschyk, has been receiving payments as an internally displaced person for two years in a row. In 2023, Iryna Tabunshchyk received 88 thousand hryvnias of assistance, and in 2022 - 80 thousand.

As deputy chairman of the regional council, he earned more than 862 thousand hryvnias in 2023, 339 thousand in 2022, and 158 thousand in 2021. As you can see, his salary is growing rapidly.

Despite their significant income, the couple has no bank accounts - for all three years, they kept 42 thousand US dollars and 17 thousand euros in cash. This year, their dollar savings have increased by another seven thousand.

During the year, the family of Vitalii Kim, the head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, significantly increased its financial assets, and the main source of income was the sale of cryptocurrency. Vitalii Kim earned UAH 1 million 762 thousand, which is 400 thousand more than in 2023. A new item appeared in the declaration - profit from the sale of cryptocurrency.

The salaries of officials of Mykolaiv City Council and the regional military administration include not only salaries and bonuses, but also significant additional payments, which are used to address social and domestic issues even in times of war. Officials' declarations indicate that most of them have foreign currency savings and property, including land plots, apartments, and cars.
