Mykolaiv has scheduled a continuation of the city council plenary session. Last session, the deputies did not consider only two draft decisions.

This is evidenced by the decision of Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych.

The mayor of Mykolaiv signed a decree to extend the plenary meeting of the regular forty-second session of the city council of the VIII convocation.

According to the order, the meeting will be held remotely in the form of a video conference on April 10, 2025 at 11:00.

At the last meeting, Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych announced a break in the plenary session, noting that the date and time of its continuation would be announced later.

Two draft decisions were not considered from the agenda:

Recently, Mykolaiv has decided to buy out a tram substation, which is an architectural monument of local significance. It is a historic building that is part of the city's heritage and a symbol of the development of electric transport in the city in the early 20th century.

It was also decided to allocate UAH 1.5 billion from the budget to protect the population. The amendments provide for financial assistance to the families of fallen veterans and defenders of Ukraine, compensation for the treatment of people with disabilities, and support for victims of the Chernobyl disaster.

Amendments were made to the city's comprehensive program"Education" for 2025-2027. More than UAH 5.17 million is planned to be spent on the operation of general secondary education institutions, including special and preschool departments. In addition, funding of UAH 9.53 million from the local budget is provided for the operation of after-school care centers in the city's schools.
