Mykolaiv announces a tender for the purchase of 10 thousand tons of hake for school meals

Mykolaiv is looking for a contractor to supply fish to school canteens. The city budget allocated UAH 1.7 million for this purpose.

The municipal production enterprise for the organization of catering in educational institutions of Mykolaiv has announced a tender for the purchase of hake s/m (headless carcass), weighing 200-400 grams.

Deliveries should be made in batches based on the customer's request no later than twelve hours after the order is placed until December 31, 2025.

The draft contract provides for a bank guarantee in the amount of 5% of the contract value. <span><span><span> </span></span></span>Payment will be made upon receipt of services within 45 business days.

The expected value of the tender is UAH 1 million 740 thousand. The tender is open for suppliers to submit their bids.

In total, the supplier has to deliver 10 thousand kilograms of hake. However, the purchase volume can be reduced or increased.

The supplier must deliver by transport that is specially equipped for the transportation of this type of product. The driver of this transport, as well as persons accompanying the goods on the way, must have a personal medical book with the results of mandatory medical examinations and be provided with sanitary clothing.

The customer reserves the right to take samples at any time for laboratory tests to ensure compliance with the quality and safety of the goods.

Also, the Education Department of Mykolaiv City Council announced a tender for the provision of catering services in the city's educational institutions. The city budget allocated over UAH 166 million for this purpose. The services should be provided from the moment the contract is signed until December 31, 2025.

Recently, Mykolaiv signed an agreement for school meals with a possible prepayment of one hundred thousand hryvnias. The supplier has to deliver more than 70 thousand eggs by the end of the year. The municipal enterprise responsible for organizing meals in Mykolaiv educational institutions signed a contract for the purchase of eggs without holding an open tender. The purchase prices exceeded market prices, which raised suspicions about the efficiency of the use of budget funds.
