Approximately 400 companies and entrepreneurs will be inspected every month. The most intensive schedule is scheduled for October, when 423 business entities will be inspected.

In total, 3.7 thousand of the planned inspections will concern legal entities, and the rest will be of individual entrepreneurs. Financial institutions and non-residents will also be inspected.

Separately, the State Tax Service will focus on 266 businesses that have issues with the payment of personal income tax, military duty and unified social tax.

Kyiv leads in the number of inspections (18%), followed by Odesa region (12%) and Dnipropetrovs'k region (10%). Companies in the wholesale trade (20.7%), agriculture (15.1%), and food production (6.2%) sectors will be most frequently inspected.

Inspections are scheduled for 287 companies in January 2025 and 371 in February.

Meanwhile, a little over a quarter of Ukrainian individual entrepreneurs plan to cease their operations. The main reason is the increase in taxes. According to the survey, 27% of entrepreneurs intend to close down, which is 8621 people. Of these, 7% (2297 individual entrepreneurs) planned to close this year, and 20% (6324 entrepreneurs) plan to do so next year.

The majority of sole proprietors (62%) decided to close because of the new tax law, and another 19% decided to close because of business problems. Most entrepreneurs among the respondents work in retail (24.6%) and IT (21%). In total, more than 31 thousand individual entrepreneurs took part in the survey.

Earlier , Odesa region ranked fourth in the country in terms of the number of individual entrepreneurs who ceased operations in 2024.
