Kherson region's recovery service spent 900 million on roads, energy and fuel

Since the beginning of 2026, the Kherson Regional Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service has announced tenders worth hundreds of millions of hryvnias, ranging from repairing power facilities to maintaining roads and purchasing fuel. The total amount of procurement exceeded UAH 900 million.

Intent analyzed the service's tenders through the Zakupivli.pro platform. It is worth noting that the analysis is based on the expected cost of procurement, as the initial price may decrease during auctions.

The Service for Infrastructure Restoration and Development in Kherson Oblast actively conducted procurement through the Prozorro system in the first months of 2026. Most funds were spent on road maintenance and reconstruction of facilities.

In January, the largest procurements were tenders for fuel for company vehicles (UAH 272.3 thousand), as well as several contracts for maintenance of premises and setup of network equipment (UAH 70.8 thousand each). In total, procurement in January amounted to about UAH 579 thousand.

In March, the company announced several procurements for fuel, ranging from UAH 311 thousand to UAH 334 thousand, and spent money on information and analytical systems and technical support. The total amount of March procurement reached approximately UAH 768 thousand.

The largest expenditures were made in April. Then, a tender was announced for the operational maintenance of the public road of national importance T-22-07 /T-04-03/ - Vysokopillia - Velyka Oleksandrivka - Beryslav worth over UAH 658.1 million.

In addition, the service ordered the reconstruction of four critical infrastructure facilities of the fuel and energy sector in Kherson and Chornobaiv communities for more than UAH 320 million. Hundreds of thousands more were spent on fuel, digital systems and database maintenance. The total amount of April procurement exceeded UAH 914.8 million.

In May, small purchases were made for tires, training courses and electronic services. As of the middle of the month, spending exceeded UAH 126 thousand.

In total, since the beginning of 2026, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Kherson Oblast has announced procurement for more than UAH 916 million, with the bulk of this amount going to the reconstruction of the energy sector and road repairs.

Last year, almost 540 million hryvnias were spent on rebuilding the de-occupied territories. The largest sums were spent on road repairs and housing construction in the destroyed Posad Pokrovske. Part of the funds was used for author's and technical supervision, as well as the design of new social infrastructure facilities.
