One of the Kherson officials was suspected in absentia of aiding the Russian occupiers. It is the deputy director of a utility company who voluntarily cooperated with the invaders during the temporary occupation of the city.

According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, the investigation found that between July and November 2022, the suspect helped transport representatives of the Russian special services, the occupation administration, and the military, and transported military equipment along routes determined by the invaders.

Before the liberation of the right-bank part of Kherson region, the official organized the evacuation of the occupation administration and material assets to the left bank, using the ships of a utility company and other watercraft.

The deputy director of a Kherson utility company was served in absentia with a notice of suspicion of aiding and abetting Russia. He faces up to 12 years in prison.

In addition, the prosecutor's office sent to court indictments against two residents of the Kherson region who voluntarily joined illegal punitive structures created by the Russian invaders during the occupation.

One of them is a former employee of the Northern Correctional Colony (No. 90). In May 2022, she agreed to work in the occupation "department of the penitentiary service", where she took the position of "operator of the security department".

Another defendant joined the illegal body in the same month and served as a "junior inspector of the security department".

They are charged with collaboration, and the woman is also charged with high treason (Part 7 of Article 111-1, Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Intent has already written that the so-called president of the fake notary chamber of Kherson region will be brought to court. The case against him has already been submitted to the court.

Before that, the court sentenced two collaborators from Kherson region to 15 years for working for the Russians, but so far in absentia. After the Russian occupation, they voluntarily joined the ranks of the so-called "Russian police" in Oleshky. The men supported the invaders and became part of the occupation "law enforcement agency".

The Security Service of Ukraine also served a notice of suspicion to Dmytro Holoborodko , a 41-year-old resident of Genichesk and former candidate for the Genichesk City Council .
