In Kherson, the Ukrainian national flag was raised again on the building of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Regional Office in Kherson Oblast. The event was held in honor of Ukrainian National Flag Day.

This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) office in the Kherson region.

The Security Service noted that the blue and yellow colors have deep roots in Ukrainian history and have become a symbol of Ukrainian statehood, freedom, and unity.

“Today we returned the national flag to its rightful place—the building of the SBU Regional Office in Kherson,” the security service stated.

At the same time, the SBU emphasized that it remembers the temporarily occupied settlements on the left bank of the Kherson region and the people who are waiting for the liberation of their towns and villages.

The agency stated that the blue-and-yellow flag must once again fly over all settlements in the Kherson region that are currently under Russian occupation.

“The Kherson region was, is, and will remain Ukrainian!” the SBU emphasized.
