A radar station (RLS)or radar is a specialized device for detecting airborne, maritime, or ground-based objects using radio waves. It determinestheexactdistanceto the target, as well as its speed and direction of movement. These systems operate by emitting radio signals and receiving the echoes reflected from the object. Radar is widely used in the military for air defense, as well as in civilian life—in navigation, meteorology, and air traffic control.
