The so-called president of the fake notary chamber of Kherson region will be brought to court. The case against him has already been submitted to the court.

According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, law enforcement officers have completed an investigation into a former private notary of the Genichesk District Notary Body, who is accused of collaborative activities (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation established that in January 2023, the man voluntarily cooperated with the occupation administration and agreed to head the illegal "notary chamber of Kherson region". Already in February, he registered the pseudo-institution in the register of legal entities of the Russian Federation.

The collaborator organized the work of the chamber, recruited staff for vacant positions, controlled its financial and economic activities, and performed the tasks of the occupation administration, contributing to the legalization of Russian power in the region.

He now faces up to 15 years in prison with the possibility of confiscation of property.

Earlier, the court sentenced two collaborators from the Kherson region to 15 years for working for the Russians, but so far in absence. After the Russian occupation, they voluntarily joined the ranks of the so-called "Russian police" in Oleshky. The men supported the invaders and became part of the occupation "law enforcement agency".

The Security Service of Ukraine also served a notice of suspicion to Dmytro Holoborodko , a 41-year-old resident of Henichesk and former candidate for the Henichesk City Council . The man concluded and executed at least three contracts with the so-called Department of the Judicial Department in Kherson region and the Department of the Russian Ministry of Justice in Kherson region for 88 thousand rubles, 21 thousand rubles and 160 thousand rubles, respectively. The agreement provided for the repair of cars for the occupation authorities, and the financing was provided by the budget of the Russian Federation.

In addition, law enforcement officers identified three women who agreed to head the department in the occupation administration of the Kherson city community in 2022. Liudmyla Husieva, Olena Ustymova and Svitlana Frolova were suspected of collaboration.
