The Housing and Utilities Department of the Izmail City Council wants to hold an open tender on March 19 to select a contractor to renovate a section of water supply and road surface in Izmail.

The contractor is ready to pay up to UAH 11.1 million for the work, Intent reported citing the Prozorro website.

We are talking about three and a half blocks of Zakhystnykiv Zmiinyi Street (formerly Tolbukhina Street) - from Ukrainskyi Front Street (formerly Chkalova Street) to the State Fire and Rescue Unit of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Odesa Oblast, i.e. to a critical infrastructure facility. According to Google Maps, this distance is about 450-455 meters.

The accompanying technical documentation announces the following works: replacement of 360 meters of cast-iron centralized water supply pipes with polyethylene pipes, but of a slightly larger diameter - 110 millimeters instead of 100 millimeters; another section of the water supply system will be equipped with pipes of a different diameter - 50 millimeters; installation of steering cranes; dismantling of old reinforced concrete slabs and asphalt; asphalt pavement and laying of safety paths; installation of wells, concrete curbs and replacement of sewer manholes.

All this should be completed by June 30, 2025.

Earlier, the Housing and Communal Services Department of the Izmail City Council announced another auction for the repair of water supply networks. For 5.05 million hryvnias, they want to renovate the section from 6 Klushina Street, where the polyclinic of the city hospital for adults is located, to Mira Avenue. According to Google-maps, this is a distance of approximately 375 meters.
