The Executive Committee of the Izmail City Council has approved the Program for Supporting the Activities of Local Governments and Executive Authorities under Martial Law for 2025.

An Intent correspondent reports this with reference to the decision of the Executive Committee No. 132 of February 19.

The document provides for the allocation of UAH 500 thousand from the city budget as financial support to the Izmail District Council until June 2025 inclusive. The funds are intended to "ensure proper working conditions for the executive staff of the district council, increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the council's staff."

The program is aimed at ensuring the proper functioning of the Izmail District Council, increasing revenues to the community budget, reducing tax arrears and strengthening social protection. One of the key tasks is to attract additional resources to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities.

In addition, the Program provides for financial support to the Izmail State Tax Inspectorate of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Odesa Oblast. However, the document does not specify any specific amounts, only a note that "funding is being clarified."

The program will be monitored by the executive committee of the city council, and generalized information on the results of implementation will be prepared by the financial department of the Izmail city council.

It should be added that at the end of 2024, at the 19th session, the Izmail District Council approved the budget for the maintenance of the Izmail District Council of Odesa Oblast and its executive office for 2025. However, the appendix to the draft decision, which should indicate the amount and its distribution, was not uploaded to the website.

Recently, the executive committee of the Izmail City Council approved adjustments to the 2025 program to regulate the number of stray animals in the city with a total budget of UAH 4 million.
