Prices for fruit in Odesa region in June increased by 61.2 percent compared to December 2024, and in general, products have risen in price by 10 percent since the beginning of the year.
This was reported by the Main Department of Statistics in Odesa region.
According to the statistics, prices in the region have increased by six percent. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products went up by 10.6%, meat went up by 16.6% since the beginning of the year, and bread by 8.5%. However, pasta fell by 0.4%.
Apartment building management services have risen by 3.2% since the beginning of the year. Restaurant and hotel services have risen by 10.5 percent since the beginning of the year. Clothing fell by 4.6% and footwear went up by 0.9%. Sunflower oil went up by 12.3%, and vegetables fell by two percent.
Cheese and soft cheese in general went up by 3.8%, while eggs fell by 19.4%. Sewerage, water supply, electricity and gas have not risen in price in the region since the beginning of the year.
Meanwhile, Odesa police have registered 251 offenders since the beginning of this year, and in total they have 1,974 offenders on their books. Law enforcement officers issued 306 temporary restraining orders, drew up 512 reports for domestic violence and 61 for failure to comply with an urgent restraining order. Investigators opened 37 criminal proceedings based on the materials of the mobile teams.
Odesa region was also among the top three due to unpaid traffic fines. In general, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the number of debts for unpaid traffic fines has increased by 2.4 times. According to the Unified Register of Debtors, 735 thousand new fines were recorded last year alone, of which 37% have not yet been paid, bringing the total number of fines to 1.8 million at the end of last year.
