Former head of Odesa regional council Skoryk received money for unused vacations

Mykola Skoryk, MP from Odesa region, has received compensation for unused vacations. The total payment amounted to almost 400 thousand hryvnias.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations.

People's Deputy of Ukraine from Odesa region Mykola Skoryk reported significant changes in his property status. On February 5, 2026, he received UAH 395,018 in compensation for unused annual paid leave for the period from 2021 to 2025.

The declaration also states that the MP's position is not included in the list of positions with a high corruption risk approved by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption. At the same time, as an MP, he is an official with increased responsibility, whose income and activities are subject to control and anti-corruption requirements.

The compensation for unused vacation days actually reflects the amount that the MP would have received if he had used his annual vacation for four years. According to the law on prevention of corruption, MPs are obliged to declare all changes in their property status and income from state bodies.

Intent also wrote that in 2023, Skoryk rented a hotel room in Kyiv. He also owns a 172.2-square-meter apartment in Odesa and a 16.2-square-meter parking space. His family owns several expensive watches: F.P.Journe Octa Auto, Patek Philippe, Ulysse Nardin, Chopard Happy Sport, and Bulgari.

The MP does not own any cars, but he uses a 2019 Toyota Highlander and, since 2022, a Mercedes-Benz GLE 350D 4MATIC.

In addition, MP from Odesa region Oleksiy Leonov in his declaration for 2025 noted changes in his property status: he bought a dacha near Odesa, declared USD 100 thousand, rented public housing and several valuable objects. Among other things, he uses a hotel room in Kyiv, which belongs to the state-owned enterprise Kyiv Hotel Complex, and owns two trademarks
