A regular meeting of the working group on drafting the Statute of the Dobroslav territorial community in Odesa Oblast took place on October 3.

According to an Intent correspondent, the meeting considered proposals submitted by members of the working group and local residents on the structure of the Charter of the Dobroslav settlement territorial community and voted for or against the proposals. The coordinator of the working group, Oksana Voloshchuk, said that the proposals were received both in writing and through a Google poll.

Community members agreed to include such proposals as ethical interaction between community members and local government officials in the structure of the Charter to avoid insults, spreading unfounded accusations, disseminating unconfirmed information, and adhering to correctness in public communication. Officials should ensure polite and tolerant communication, avoid discriminatory and derogatory statements, respond to appeals in a timely and clear manner, and facilitate dialogue with citizens.

It is envisaged to involve older people in the decision-making process of important decisions for the community, which should help increase the activity of older people, implement cultural and educational projects on their initiative, strengthen partnerships between generations, and improve the quality of life of the community's older population.

It is also planned to involve war veterans in local self-government. These include war veterans, combatants, volunteers, people with disabilities as a result of war, and family members of fallen defenders of Ukraine. The goal is to lay down a clear commitment to support this category of the population in the community's main document. Support for youth and children's organizations is also envisaged.

Providing psychosocial support and organizing activities for psycho-emotional relief for community residents in special conditions involves the creation of a psychosocial support center, social and psychological assistance to victims of domestic violence. It is envisaged to promote the development of industrial parks as an investment attraction for the community. The members of the working group also supported the proposal on the legal status of internally displaced persons in the community to ensure equal participation of internally displaced persons in local government and create conditions for their full integration into the community. They also supported the initiative to create an e-democracy platform, which should expand the mechanism of participation of local residents in decision-making processes and increase the transparency and openness of government activities.
