Director of Kherson housing office under occupation seized Mercedes in Mykolaiv

An elite car of a suspect in cooperation with the occupiers in Kherson was arrested in Mykolaiv. He created a fake Kherson utility company and headed the institution.

This is stated in the ruling of the Zavodskyi District Court of Mykolaiv.

According to the court ruling, law enforcement officers are investigating criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - aiding the aggressor state. According to the investigation, the native of Odesa region illegally created a fake legal entity - the Housing and Maintenance Office No. 1 of Suvorov District of Kherson. He made the seal of this structure, headed it and actually managed the institution, which was created on the basis of a real utility company.

In the second half of November - December 2022, the suspect submitted documents for state registration of this structure in the Russian register of legal entities. Also in September-October 2022, he paid salaries and financial assistance to his subordinates in cash in rubles.

On May 30, 2025, the man was served a notice of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (assistance to the aggressor state). After that, he did not appear before the investigator and did not provide any documents confirming valid reasons for his absence.

The investigation established that the defendant:

• Performed managerial functions in the so-called housing offices in the occupied territory;
• facilitated the registration of fake companies in the Russian register of legal entities;
• organized payment of salaries in rubles and opened accounts in Russian banks;
• agitated employees to support the actions of the aggressor country.

According to the vehicle registration card, the suspect is the owner of a Mercedes Benz S550. As part of the investigation, the court granted the investigator's motion and the suspected collaborator's car was seized.

Also, a former TV presenter from Kherson was sentenced in absentia to 10 years in prison for collaborating with the occupiers. During the occupation, she headed the so-called information department and later fled the city. The court deprived her of the right to hold public office and ordered the confiscation of her house, three apartments and a Nissan Leaf.
