In Kherson, the man agreed to work in the occupier-controlled so-called "Department of Health" and later in the fake "Ministry of Health". For this, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

The relevant verdict was announced by the Kherson City Court.

According to the case file, the accused resident of Kherson voluntarily agreed to take a position in the illegally created so-called "Department of Health of Kherson Region" and later in the pseudo "Ministry of Health" created by the occupation administration during the temporary occupation of the region.

The investigation found that the man performed administrative and economic duties, supervised capital construction, repair and operation of medical institutions that were subordinated to the occupation authorities. For this, he received a salary in Russian rubles.

At the trial, witnesses confirmed that the accused headed a department in the structure of occupation medicine, managed the organization of work, gave orders for the preparation of boiler rooms and other economic issues, and had a positive attitude towards the occupation authorities.

The case was considered in absentia, as the accused is currently hiding in the temporarily occupied territory.

The Kherson City Court found the man guilty under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ("Voluntary occupation of a position in an illegal authority in the temporarily occupied territory").

He was sentenced to 10 years in prison with confiscation of all his property.

We wrote that in Kherson, the court changed the charges against a school principal who taught children according to Russian standards. The charge of treason was changed to aiding the aggressor state and he was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
