Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has ordered to convene a regular session of the city council on September 24.
The relevant order was published by the press service of the municipality.
The agenda has not been finalized yet; it is currently presented only as a list of blocks that will combine draft decisions:
However, it is currently known that the Department of Transport, Communications and Traffic Organization of the Odesa City Council has prepared a draft decision of the Odesa City Council "On Approval of the Procedure for Self-Governance Control over the State of Improvement of Ownerless Vehicles in the City of Odesa".
Intent continues to monitor the process of preparing the Odesa City Council for the next plenary session. One of the important stages of preparation is the meeting of the permanent deputy commissions, where the deputies discuss draft decisions and recommend or not recommend them for voting in the session hall.
On August 27, an extraordinary session of the city council was held, during which the Odesa City Council almost failed the "Barrier-Free Odesa" program due to a scandal over the cost of inclusive toilets at UAH 5.7 million each. After a second vote, the decision was passed. At the same time, a program with a budget of UAH 663 million for 2025-2028 was approved for the preservation of historic buildings in Odesa. The program provides for the restoration of facades, roofs, and comprehensive restoration of monuments, including UNESCO sites.
At the same time, the city council decided to take out a loan of UAH 623 million. The funds will be used to modernize medical facilities, build shelters in schools and kindergartens, develop energy infrastructure and repair roads.
