In 2024, deputies of the Mykolaiv Regional Council declared significant income, real estate, large plots of land, fleets with dozens of vehicles, and millions in cash.

TheCenter for Public Investigations analyzed who among them has the largest vehicle fleet.

The leader in terms of the number of vehicles is Nadiia Ivanova, with 45 vehicles listed in her family's declaration: 10 cars, 16 trucks, 9 trailers, 8 semi-trailers, fuel trucks, and even a boat. She owns the main vehicle fleet, and her husband jointly owns a boat, two Volkswagen Passats (1988 and 2009), and a trailer.

The second place is occupied by the Frolenko spouses with 30 vehicles. The MP owns a BMW X5, a jet ski, a snowmobile, 17 pieces of agricultural machinery, 4 trailers and a truck. His wife Inna Frolenko has a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and 4 trucks.

The third position is occupied by the Shulhach family with 18 vehicles. The MP owns 5 trucks, a motor grader, 2 tractors and 8 trailers; his wife owns a BMW X3, and his daughter bought a Volkswagen T-Roc in 2024 for UAH 945 thousand.

The fourth place was taken by Yuriy Mavrodiyev from the Nash Krai party with 16 vehicles. He has only a Volkswagen Touareg, while the rest of the vehicles - Daewoo Lanos, Mercedes-Benz 313CDI, 5 trucks and 8 semi-trailers - belong to Olena Mavrodieva.

The top five largest fleets are rounded out by Andriy Holovchansky with 9 vehicles. He owns a truck, VAZ 212140, and two 2018 Ford EDGEs purchased in 2024 at a price significantly below the market price (UAH 50 thousand and 219.5 thousand), while their market price starts at 350 thousand. His wife Nadiia owns a boat, a trailer, a semi-trailer, a VAZ 21070, and a Nissan Leaf, the latter bought in 2024 for 152.1 thousand hryvnias, just like her husband.

Oleksandr Yasynskyi, Olena Masalitina, Valentyna Koroliova, Oleh Kozlov, Tetiana Potapenko, Vira Myronova, Yevhen Horburov, Khrystyna Malysh, Hryhorii Tashlyk, Ivan Bilous, and Ihor Mukharskyi did not declare any vehicles.

Thus, many regional deputies have vehicle fleets comparable in number of vehicles to those of small businesses, including not only passenger cars, but also agricultural machinery, boats, snowmobiles, and specialized vehicles.

As for the city council members, their fleets in Mykolaiv differ significantly: some declare dozens of expensive cars, motorcycles and special vehicles, while others do not indicate any vehicles at all. Some deputies' families have more than 20 cars, while others do without their own cars.
