Former deputy of Mykolaiv Regional Council Yuriy Kormyshkin was granted bail in the amount of UAH 15 million. He is suspected of trying to legalize his wife's property.

This was reported by the press service of the High Anti-Corruption Court.

NABU prosecutors insisted on bail in the amount of UAH 19,736,504.

According to the investigation, in 2021-2022, MP Kormyshkina acquired assets worth more than UAH 20 million.

The SAPO claims that her husband, as a deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, tried to hide the source of these funds and make them legal. To do this, he conducted a series of financial transactions with the funds.

If bail is granted, Yuriy Kormyshkin is obliged to

Recently, law enforcement officers detained a former deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, Yuriy Kormyshkin. He was released on bail as a preventive measure. He and his wife are accused of money laundering.

The former deputy publicly reacted to his detention, saying that it was the result of illegal pressure from law enforcement. In early 2025, the NABU and the SAPO served a new suspicion to Iryna Kormyshkina, a current member of the Ukrainian parliament, of entering false information in her e-declaration.

In addition, the MP is a suspect in the case of illegal enrichment. In 2021-2022, she acquired assets worth more than UAH 20 million, although her officially declared income and savings for this period did not exceed UAH 2.7 million.

The acquired property included a house in Odesa region, which was not listed in her declaration. In addition, in her 2023 declaration, she did not indicate two land plots she used.
