Football club Chornomorets said that the owner of residential buildings located on the territory of the children's and youth sports school's base is trying to deprive children of the opportunity to train.

According to the club's press service, the new owner of the residential buildings on the club's territory, Isagis, decided to raise the rent tenfold and restrict access to the territory for club employees.

As a result, a conflict arose, during which the owner of the residential buildings unilaterally restricted the presence of the general director and staff of the children's and youth school and armed guards, blocking training and preparation for competitions.

"These actions took place in violation of the law - Isagis owns only the buildings, and absolutely all the property is owned by the club. In addition, historically, this base has always belonged to Chornomorets Football Club and was built exclusively for training purposes, not for commercial purposes, which are now being pursued by the owner of the residential buildings," the FC said.

The club also said that the lease agreement between the owners of the buildings and the club was and is legitimate, so the club's representatives' presence on the territory has all legal grounds. Nevertheless, the owner attempted to terminate the agreement early, citing what the FC administration believed to be legally unfounded arguments.

The football club sent its security guards to the territory of the base. The club's general director, lawyer, representatives of the owner, police and investigative authorities were present at the site. All actions were documented and carried out within the legal framework.

Earlier, the administration of the Ukrainian children's center "Young Guard" stated that the Verkhovna Rada plans to seize 11 hectares of land without consulting Odesa residents.
