On March 25, the City Botanical Garden suffered significant damage as a result of a ballistic missile strike on Odesa.

The botanical garden staff reported this on social media and asked for help.

The blast wave smashed hundreds of windows in the garden's greenhouses. In addition, Russian missiles damaged administrative buildings, greenhouses, and more.

"Dear friends, the botanical garden suffered a lot of damage during the last arrival. Greenhouses, the administration building, the library, and laboratories were damaged. The blast wave blew out windows and doors. We will be very grateful for your help," the statement reads.

The city of Odesa is waiting for concerned citizens on Friday, March 29, from 10 to 15:00, to clean up the territory of the botanical garden.

In the evening of March 25, Odesa was again attacked by Russians with a double ballistic missile attack. Two buildings were destroyed, and the windows in the houses around them were blown out. The missile attack injured 10 people.

Also on that day, Russians attacked Kyiv. As a result of a missile strike on Kyiv in the morning of March 25, the building of the Mykhailo Boichuk Kyiv State Academy of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design was severely damaged. The gym, congress hall and exhibition center were completely destroyed. Students temporarily switched to online learning.

Laboratories, classrooms, adjacent buildings, and dormitories were damaged. According to Karandeyev, the academy will carry out emergency repairs, restore electricity to the dormitory, and replace the glass in the broken windows.

At the same time, the spokesperson for the South military command warned that air raids would be more frequent in Kyiv and the region due to long-range Zircon missiles that Russia has stockpiled in occupied Crimea.

According to her, even shooting down these missiles can cause significant damage. Now, when ballistic missiles are used from the south, air alerts will be announced in Kyiv region and in the northern regions.
