Bidding for additional road works for 300 million started in Mykolaiv region

Mykolaiv region has announced a tender for additional work on the maintenance of national roads. They are ready to spend almost UAH 300 million on this.

This is evidenced by the data of the public procurement system Prozorro.

The Mykolaiv Oblast Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service has announced an open tender with special conditions for additional works on the operational maintenance of national roads.

The bidding procedure requires submission of bids by May 16, 2025, and the auction is scheduled for May 19, 2025. The total expected value of the procurement is over UAH 290 million including VAT, and the minimum price reduction step is UAH 1.4 million.

The successful bidder is obliged to ensure the fulfillment of the contract by providing a bank guarantee in the amount of 1% of the contract value. The work is to be completed by December 20, 2026.

The tender conditions also provide for the possibility of providing an advance payment of up to 30% of the annual cost of works, but only within the current budget period. Applications for participation in the tender can be submitted by participants who meet the requirements of the documentation.

Among the requirements, by the way, is confirmation that the participant has its own asphalt concrete plant, material and technical base and technologies. There must be 6 road rollers weighing at least 3 tons, 2 road mills, 6 motor graders, 2 asphalt pavers and 1 machine for cleaning seams.

Mykolaiv region has also recently announced a tender for almost one billion hryvnias to maintain national roads until the end of 2026. The customer was also the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service, which plans to sign a contract for additional works on routine maintenance of roads - from cleaning and repairing the pavement to maintaining roadsides and road signs.

In addition, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Mykolaiv region announced a tender for UAH 70 million. The contractor will use the money to apply horizontal markings on national roads.

According to Intent's analysis, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Mykolaiv region last year allocated more than UAH 13 billion for the largest procurements. The projects were aimed at improving transportation and ensuring a stable water supply in the region.
