The National Asset Recovery and Management Agency has announced a tender for the selection of legal entities to take measures to organize the sale of the seized USKO MFU, which was transferred to ARMA's management in accordance with the decision of the Dniprovskyi District Court of Kyiv.

This was reported by the ARMA press service.

"The vessel, despite the technical need for refurbishment, has significant investment potential. In particular, we are talking about the availability of the main power unit, basic navigation infrastructure and the possibility of further restoration or re-equipment," the agency emphasized.

The USKO MFUbulk carrier flying the flag of Cameroon was confiscated in October 2024. The detention took place in July 2024 in the Odesa region, when the Maritime Security units detected violations of navigation in the waters under temporary occupation. The captain of the vessel was accused of violating the procedure for entering the occupied territories with the intent to harm the state interests.

Earlier, the ARMA reported an attempt to illegally remove from Ukraine the arrested vessel EMMAKRIS III, which is managed by the private enterprise Marinex.

The Dniprovskyi District Court of Kyiv also handed over to the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes (ARMA) a Russian-linked vessel detained in the Danube River. It is the bulk carrier ANKA, arrested by court order in April 2025 after the Security Service of Ukraine detained it on suspicion of being used by Russia to steal Ukrainian agricultural products from the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine.

In April 2025, the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) held an auction to sell the Nika Spirit vessel, which was arrested in Izmail, Odesa region.

Four limited liability companies took part in the auction: "Alfa Group 77, Inter Metcom, Mettrans Service, and Good Group. The winner was Alfa Group 77 LLC. The company offered UAH 6 million 425 thousand. According to the YouControl service, Alfa Group 77 LLC was registered in 2016 in Kremenchuk, Poltava region. The owner is Vitaliy Marchenko.

The tanker Nika Spirit (formerly known as Neyma) was detained on July 24, 2019, in the port of Izmail. According to the international information system Equasis, the vessel was identified as the one used to block the Kerch Strait in November 2018.
