Additional 13 million to be spent on repair of Izmail district police station

The Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Oblast has started looking for a contractor to overhaul the roof, water supply and sewage networks of the administrative building of the Izmail District Police Department.

Up to UAH 13 million 118 thousand 273 is planned to be invested in this stage of repair, Intent reports with reference to the public procurement website Prozorro.

The work will be carried out at the expense of a special fund within the framework of the city program to support the security and defense sector of Ukraine for 2024. The document was approved by the decision of the Executive Committee of the Izmail City Council of the Izmail District, as amended, No. 368 of 17.04.2024.

The technical documentation provides for the following list of works: dismantling 500 m2 of the roof of a five-story building, facing the walls of the building facades with "boar" tiles, installing metal fire doors, installing two floodlights, replacing sewage and water supply pipelines.

It is planned to install a 50 kW hybrid solar power plant and install 92 units of solar panels on the roof.

The tender to select the contractor for the works is scheduled for December 11. The works are to be completed by the end of this year. The general contractor must provide a 10-year warranty period.

In the summer of 2023, a tender for the overhaul of the Izmail District Police Department was won by MD-Konstrat, a company from Bilyayivka, Odesa Oblast, for UAH 18.9 million. The contract provided for the overhaul of the Izmail police building by the end of 2023 with a complete replacement of communications, installation of two elevators for people with limited mobility, etc. The contract was subsequently extended until June 30, 2024.

In the summer of 2024, the Main Police Department in Odesa Oblast announced another tender for additional work on the overhaul of the administrative building of the Izmail Police Department and the pre-trial detention center. The contract worth UAH 6 million 135 thousand was won by the only bidder, a young Mykolaiv-based Astra Nord-West LLC, which was registered in October 2023.

On November 27, 2024, the client and the contractor mutually agreed to reduce the contract value by UAH 1.35 million. Thus, its final amount amounted to UAH 4 million 785 thousand.
