UAH 94 million to be raised for overhaul of Voznesenskyi Lyceum in Mykolaiv region

The Voznesensk Lyceum in Mykolaiv region is to be renovated and insulated. It is planned to find funding for more than 94 million hryvnias.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream ecosystem.

It is planned to overhaul and thermally modernize the buildings of Ascension Lyceum No. 10 at 20 Sobornosti Street.

The purpose of the reconstruction is to provide quality educational services for community children. The project was initiated by the Voznesensk City Council.

According to the project description, the complex of buildings, which became the property of the Voznesensk community in December 2022, needs major repairs. The roof is leaking, mold has appeared on the walls, the heating main is rotten, and the internal network and some windows are damaged. After the renovation, it will be used as a specialized lyceum with a dormitory for students from different communities.

The estimated duration of the project is 24 months. The project budget is UAH 94 million 693 thousand 922.

The project is aimed at creating comfortable and safe conditions for children to stay in the building of the educational institution, improving its technical condition and appearance. It ensures the repair and preservation of communal property, improvement of thermal comfort, and budgetary savings by reducing energy consumption.

The lyceum reconstruction project is currently in preparation and requires funding.

In addition, 23 million hryvnias are to be raised for the energy-efficient reconstruction of Mykolaiv Gymnasium #56. The design and estimate documentation was completed in 2017-2019 and needs to be adjusted. The goal of the project is to improve the energy efficiency and comfort of the gymnasium's premises, to provide optimal conditions for study and recreation for students and staff.

And UAH 20 million was allocated from the local budget for the insulation of the Mykolaiv kindergarten. We are planning to reconstruct the building of preschool educational institution No. 52 with thermal sanitation. The project aims to maintain optimal temperature conditions and reduce heating costs.
