Odesa has once again started renovating the Lanzheronivskyi Lyceum. The project, launched back in 2021, has been adjusted and aims not only to renovate the building but also to completely modernize the school's territory.
This is evidenced by the data from the DREAM digital restoration system.
According to the plan of the Capital Construction Department of the Odesa City Council, the lyceum will replace the roof, insulate and clad the facades, install energy-saving doors and windows with ebbs and grilles that meet modern fire safety standards. Separate accessibility works are planned, including the installation of ramps with tactile tiles, and the repair of porches and pits.
The adjacent territory will also undergo changes: a new stone fence, paving and repaired driveway in the backyard, enlarged sports and recreation areas with new rubber coating, benches, trash cans and flagpoles. There are also plans to expand the landscaping, including flower beds, trees, bushes, and outdoor lighting.
The total budget is estimated at more than UAH 71.6 million, of which only 13.55% of the funding has been confirmed. The main source of funds is the local budget, with expenditures spread over several years. Of these, capital expenditures amount to UAH 56.7 million, and operating expenses reach UAH 14.9 million.
The contractor for the work is Center for Reconstruction and Construction LLC. The contract for the overhaul of the Lanzheroniv Lyceum was worth more than UAH 27 million. The contract for the main repairs was signed in September 2021, and the contract has been extended until the end of 2026.
Also, the urban planning department of the Mayakivka village council in Odesa region has announced a tender for the third time to select a contractor to build a shelter at the local lyceum. The expected cost of the work is over one hundred and twenty-two million hryvnias. Previously, the tender could not be completed due to the absence of participants or the submission of inappropriate proposals, so this time the authorities are again looking for a company to build the shelter.
