The Mykolaiv Regional Council officially recognized the powers of two new deputies from the Servant of the People party to replace the departed members of the council. This renewal took place in accordance with the law and resolutions of the territorial election commission.

The relevant decision was made at a session of the Mykolaiv Regional Council.

On July 1, at the thirtieth extraordinary session of the Mykolaiv Regional Council of the eighth convocation, the deputies recognized the powers of two newly elected representatives of the Servant of the People party - Kateryna Konoplyannikova and Albina Bondarenko. They took the seats of those deputies who had resigned from the council.

Before that, the session heard a report from the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Territorial Election Commission, Yulia Volchan. She reported on TEC resolutions No. 44 and No. 53 of June 6, 2025, on the registration of new deputies from the Servant of the People political party in territorial electoral district No. 2. According to her, the election commission decided to register both deputies from the Servant of the People party.

Anton Tabunshchyk, chairman of the regional council, noted that the decision was supported at meetings of the standing committees.

After reviewing the resolutions, the regional council officially recognized the deputy powers of both candidates. The decision was made on the basis of the Law of Ukraine "On Local Self-Government", the Law "On the Status of Deputies of Local Councils" and the Electoral Code of Ukraine.

Thus, the Servant of the People faction in the Mykolaiv Regional Council has two new representatives.

In February, a new deputy, Yuriy Mavrodiyev, joined the Mykolaiv Regional Council to replace the deputy who resigned. The Mykolaiv Regional Territorial Election Commission decided to register the next in line candidate of the eighth convocation.

Earlier, Svitlana Fedorova, a deputy from the banned Nash Krai party, and Vladyslav Nevesely, a deputy from the Servant of the People party, resigned from their positions early. Fedorova explained her decision as unacceptable cooperation with the current leadership, while Neveselyi did not provide any explanation.
