Family of Odesa City Council member Karpenchuk increases assets

Odesa MP Mykhailo Karpenchuk has declared millions in income, luxury cars, and significant amounts of cash, but the most striking thing is the scale of his real estate investments.

According to the Center for Public Investigations, citing the MP's declaration, the family spent more than UAH 11 million on new properties last year alone, significantly expanding its assets.

Real estate and land

In his declaration, the MP listed an impressive list of real estate acquired over the years:

In addition, in May 2025, the deputy's wife received non-residential buildings with an area of 429.5 square meters in the village of Mayaki for use - on the basis of lease and property management. The owner of these facilities is another person. She also uses a land plot of 8,10 square meters, which is leased, and the formal owner is the Mayaky Village Council of Odesa District.

Jewelry and car fleet

In his declaration, the deputy of Odesa City Council listed jewelry and several vehicles registered both for himself and his family members.

Among the valuable items is a premium Rolex Yacht-Master II watch that he purchased in 2024. Karpenchuk owns a BMW M8 Gran Coupe (2021), purchased in October 2021. He also declared a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 (2018), purchased in April 2022. His wife uses a Porsche Taycan (2021), which was purchased in 2023. In addition, in August 2023, the elected official purchased a Finval 555 boat (made in 2016).

Income, cash and expenses

The declaration reflects the income of both the MP and his wife. The bulk of the income is generated by the spouses' business activities, which brought in more than UAH 11.8 million in total. The largest income was declared by the MP himself - UAH 6.5 million from business activities. At the same time, his wife also received significant income in this area - UAH 5.2 million.

In addition to business, the MP's wife received a salary in the service cooperative "Clubnyi", which amounted to UAH 211.2 thousand for the year. The declaration also includes additional income - UAH 26 thousand of other income from the bank and UAH 2.8 thousand of interest received from placing funds in a banking institution.

The MP's savings amounted to USD 345 thousand and EUR 105 thousand in cash. His wife keeps another 47 thousand dollars and 20 thousand euros in cash.

In addition to cash, the declaration lists bank accounts. The MP has 439.7 thousand hryvnias and 1,297 US dollars in banks. His wife has UAH 1 million 577.9 thousand in banks.

The MP acquired ownership of real estate for UAH 5.8 million and paid for his child's education for UAH 174.9 thousand.

In 2023, the Security Service of Ukraine exposed a corruption scheme organized by Mykhailo Karpenchuk, a deputy of the Odesa City Council from the OPFL. According to investigators, he systematically collected bribes from businessmen for permits to cut down plants in Odesa.
