Odesa has experienced a night of massive attacks with missiles and drone strikes that hit the city in several waves. The shelling resulted in deaths and injuries, as well as damage to residential buildings and infrastructure.

According to the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, the attacks took place in waves, which significantly complicated the work of air defense and emergency services.
Six people were killed in the shelling. Another 11 people were injured with varying degrees of severity - all the victims are being provided with the necessary medical care.
Civilian infrastructure suffered serious damage. In Khadzhibey district, a residential building was damaged, and the blast wave smashed more than 300 windows in several buildings. Damage was also reported in one of the parks in the Primorsky district.
From the first minutes after the attacks, public utilities, rescuers and medics have been working on the ground. An operational headquarters was deployed in the city to coordinate the aftermath of the shelling and help the victims.
In the evening of April 15, the residential sector of the city came under enemy fire. A shell hit a nine-story building. As a result of the strike on a residential building in Odesa, apartments on the 5th-7th floor of the building were damaged and a fire broke out. Six people were injured, one person died. One of the victims also died.
In addition, a drone strike damaged the roof of a private residential building in Berezovsky district. A fire broke out on the adjacent territory, which has already been extinguished by rescuers.
On the morning of April 15, Russian troops again attacked the port infrastructure of Odesa region with attack drones. The attack resulted in hits that caused fires at the facilities. Warehouses and administrative buildings that are part of the region's port infrastructure were damaged.
