Troops continue to launch massive attacks on the Kherson region, using aircraft, drones, and artillery. Over the past 24 hours, the shelling has claimed the lives of two people, and eight more residents have been wounded.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

Over the past day, 38 settlements in the Kherson region came under Russian airstrikes, drone attacks, and artillery fire.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the occupiers targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods. As a result of the attacks, 21 residential buildings were damaged—nine high-rise buildings and twelve private homes.

Russian troops also damaged an administrative building, a post office, a minibus, and private vehicles.

Two people were killed and eight others were wounded as a result of the Russian aggression.

In the morning, around 5:40 a.m., Russian forces attacked a car with a drone in the Central District of Kherson. A man sustained fatal injuries as a result of the strike. His identity is currently being determined.

The previous evening, in the Korabelny district of Kherson, a local resident was killed by a Russian explosive device. A “Pelyustka”-type anti-personnel mine detonated in the man’s hands. The Kherson resident died from his injuries.

On July 27, shelling damagedsix single-family homes and 13 high-rise buildings, an educational institution, business premises, civilian vehicles and an ambulance, a non-residential building, and a cell tower.

Also in Kherson, the shelling destroyed the last functioning boxing gym where children and teenagers trained. The coach and students of the boxing club appealed to the International Olympic Committee, calling for Russian athletes to be barred from participating in international competitions.
