“The main building was damaged and caught fire. Carlo Formosa confirmed that Italy continues to stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine in the search for a just and lasting peace.

The occupiers shelled Kherson this morning. A 47-year-old man was killed on the spot when a shell struck one of the high-rise buildings. Two other Kherson residents sustained serious injuries, and doctors are fighting to save their lives.

At around 2:40 p.m., a 91-year-old man was killed in the Korabelny district of the city as a result of the shelling. An 88-year-old woman suffered blast injuries.

Earlier, a new tactic used by Russian drones was observed in the Kherson region. According to Ukrainian military officials, Russian pilots have begun accelerating drones to speeds of about 170 kilometers per hour and sending them into a dive, which makes it much harder to intercept them. At the same time, this tactic often results in indiscriminate strikes on civilian infrastructure.
