After the first auction for the sale of the Kotovsk Winery failed to take place, the state-owned enterprise was put up for privatization again, with the starting price reduced by nearly half.

This is evidenced by an announcement published by the Regional Branch of the State Property Fund of Ukraine for the Odesa and Mykolaiv Regions on the “Prozorro.Sales” platform.

Initially, the winery was scheduled to be sold on July 28 with a starting price of 24,821,500 hryvnias. However, according to the system, the auction did not take place.

The starting price is now 12,410,700 hryvnias—exactly half of the original amount.

Bids will be accepted until August 4, and the auction itself is scheduled for August 5.

The single property complex of the state-owned enterprise “Kotovsk Winery” includes 19 real estate properties, including buildings and structures, 177 items of movable property, two vehicles, as well as an unfinished construction project—the design documentation for a residential building.

The state-owned enterprise “Kotovsk Winery” is located in the city of Podilsk, Odesa Oblast (220 Soborna/50 Let Zhovtnia St.) and was founded in 1945 as one of the wine-producing enterprises in southern Ukraine, known for products such as “Ukrainian Cahors,” “Isabella,” and port wines.

The auction will be conducted as a three-round English auction. Before the auction begins, participants submit sealed bids without knowing the number of competitors or the amounts of their bids. During the three rounds, they may raise their bids, and the participant with the highest initial bid has the right to make the final bid in each round.

The auction will proceed provided that at least two participants have registered. At the same time, in cases provided for by law, the property may be sold to a single registered participant at the price they have offered.

Meanwhile, the State Property Fund has announced an auction for the privatization of the state-owned stake in JSC “Odesa Port Plant.” A 99.5667% stake in the company’s authorized capital has been put up for sale with a starting price of over 4.3 billion hryvnias.
