The head of Kherson Urban Military Administration has a new deputy

There have been changes in the Kherson City Military Administration. The former head of the district administration has been appointed first deputy.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson MMA Yaroslav Shanko.

Mykhailo Lynetsky has been appointed first deputy head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko. According to the official, Lynetskyi has many years of management experience and knows the Kherson community, its problems and needs well. In his new role, he will be responsible for the key areas of the city's life, coordination of structural units and implementation of the tasks facing the administration.

I am convinced that Mykhailo's professionalism and responsibility will allow us to work even more effectively for the stability and development of our community even in these extremely difficult conditions of war," said the head of KHMAD.

Previously, Lynetskyi headed the Kherson District State Administration, where he was appointed in April 2021. In August 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers approved his dismissal from this position.

Kherson Regional State Administration also recently underwent personnel changes. Volodymyr Ilchenko became the head of the Territorial Development Department. Previously, he was the head of the Department of Capital Construction and Prospective Development of the City in Kramatorsk City Council. Ilchenko replaced Svitlana Vasina, who was dismissed at the end of August.

A new gender coordinator was also appointed. Volodymyr Kliutsevsky was appointed as the authorized person to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women and men, as well as to prevent and combat gender-based violence.

In July, a new assistant chief was appointed to the Kherson regional police, Denys Bordak, a veteran of the Luty assault brigade. He will be responsible for supporting veterans, wounded soldiers and families of the dead, as well as for developing veteran policy.

In early June, the President appointed Yaroslav Shanko as the head of the Kherson City Military Administration. His predecessor, Roman Mrochko, who had been heading the administration since March 2023, was dismissed in April 2025.
