TCC employee injured in Odesa while checking documents

In Odesa, a man stabbed a serviceman with a knife during a document check and fled the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital, and the incident was recorded on camera.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Regional Trade and Commerce Center and JV.

The Odesa Regional Training and Production Center has officially confirmed the fact of an attack on a serviceman that took place in the evening of September 16, 2025, in the Kyiv district of Odesa. According to the agency, a joint group consisting of a representative of the National Police and servicemen of the territorial center was conducting warning activities. During this, one of the citizens was asked to show his military registration documents.

Instead of complying with the request, the man began to run away, after which he committed an armed attack - using a knife and inflicting a penetrating wound to the serviceman. After the crime, the offender fled the scene.

The wounded serviceman was immediately taken to a medical facility where he is being provided with all necessary assistance. According to the CCC, there is currently no threat to life, but the victim's condition requires further treatment.

The incident was recorded on the soldier's body camera. The recording, along with other materials, will be handed over to law enforcement agencies to document the crime and conduct procedural actions.

The TCC and JV emphasized that the use of weapons against military personnel performing tasks in accordance with the law is a serious criminal offense that falls under a number of articles of the Criminal Code.

This is not the first time that conflicts between citizens and TCC employees have occurred. In early September, investigators brought a case of theft of a company car to court: A 43-year-old man got into a car that was supposed to take another citizen for an examination at the MEC, and despite the presence of the driver, he suddenly jumped behind the wheel and drove off.

The Odesa CCM and JV also commented on the video of the incident on Dalnytska Street, where a group of soldiers pushed a civilian into a windowless cargo van. The video shows the man resisting, and eyewitnesses are outraged. The department said that during the alert, unauthorized civilians began to aggressively interfere and use force against the military.
