Russian troops attacked Odesa with attack drones, causing casualties. The strikes caused damage to residential buildings and social infrastructure.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper.

In Odesa district, enemy UAVs damaged windows in a nine-story residential building and an educational institution. No fires were reported after the attack.

Emergency and utility services are working at the scene. According to preliminary reports, seven people were injured. Medics provided first aid to six of them, and another person was hospitalized in moderate condition. Doctors continue to provide the necessary assistance to the victims.

The head of the UMA urged residents not to ignore air raid warnings, stay in shelters and avoid being near windows.

On the night of December 17, Russian troops carried out two waves of attacks that damaged a transport infrastructure facility. A fire broke out at the site of the attack, which was quickly extinguished by rescuers. No one was killed or injured.

Also on the night of December 16, several dozen attack drones attacked Odesa region. A fire broke out on the territory of one of the enterprises as a result of a hit: a warehouse with household appliances, including boilers and heaters, caught fire. The fire was completely extinguished, and the neighboring warehouse of another logistics company was also saved.

For several days, Odesa and the region were under massive rocket and drone attacks. As of the morning of December 13, the city was mostly without electricity and water supply. The attacks began on the night of December 12, continued intermittently through December 13, and continuously on the night of December 14.

A state of emergency was also declared in Odesa region after a large-scale attack by Russian troops on energy facilities. The authorities were instructed to introduce an energy-saving regime and guarantee the stable operation of generators at critical infrastructure facilities.
