Boiler warehouse burns down as a result of Russian attack in Odesa region

On the night of December 16, Russians attacked Odesa region with several dozen attack drones.

According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, a fire broke out on the territory of one of the enterprises as a result of the attack.

The fire engulfed a warehouse with household appliances such as boilers and heaters. The fire has now been completely extinguished. A nearby warehouse of another logistics company was saved. No one was injured in the attack.

In total, on the night of December 16, the enemy attacked with 69 Shahed, Gerber and other types of attack drones. The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m., air defense neutralized 57 enemy drones. However, 10 strike UAVs were recorded at seven locations.

In addition to Odesa region, Zaporizhzhia was also affected, where Russians struck a nine-story residential building with a UAV. The shelling injured three people and they were provided with medical assistance. At the scene, four apartments on the 5th and 6th floors over an area of 120 square meters caught fire.

Odesa and Odesa region were attacked by Russian missiles and drones throughout the day on December 12, resulting in a major power and water cut in the city as of the morning of December 13. The attacks began on the night of December 12 and continued intermittently throughout the day on December 13, and continued uninterrupted throughout the night of December 13. Due to the lack of electricity supply, water was cut off in the city for a day. Water supply was restored in the morning of December 14. Four people were injured.
