Russian military attacked Kherson region with drones: there are victims

Yesterday, on December 25, the Russian military damaged 2 high-rise buildings and vandalized a private car. Four people were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District Administration, Antonivka, Veletynske, Inzhenerne, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Beryslav, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Mykilske, Kizomys, Tyahyntsi, Ivanivka, Burgunka, Rozlyv, Poniativka, Kozatske, Monastyrske, Tokarivka, Osokorivka, Mykhaylivka, Lvov, Shlyakhove, Komyshany, Zolota Balka, Mylove, Vesele, Odradokamyanka, Novotyahanka, Novooleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Chornobaivka, Dudchany, Olgivka, Chervonyi Mayak and the city of Kherson.

At around 10:00, Russians attacked Kherson from a UAV. As a result of the explosives dropped from the drone, a 36-year-old man sustained an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to his shoulder. Around 18:00, Russian troops shelled Veletynske. A 55-year-old man sustained an explosive injury as a result of the enemy attack.

In addition, two men who were injured in a Russian UAV attack in Kindiytsia yesterday were admitted to the hospital. The local residents, aged 52 and 25, were diagnosed with blast injuries and contusions. Their condition is assessed as moderate.

The day before, on December 24, residential areas, critical infrastructure, private houses and vehicles were hit. Nine private houses, a cell tower, garages and cars of local residents were damaged. Five people were injured in the attacks and are currently receiving medical treatment. On January 23, the Russians also damaged two high-rise buildings and nine private houses. The occupants also damaged outbuildings, a garage and private cars. Three people were injured. On January 22, Russian troops fired twice at rescuers. During the shelling of one of Kherson's neighborhoods, an employee of the State Emergency Service was injured while performing emergency rescue operations. He was hospitalized, and the fire was quickly extinguished.

Before that, the occupiers had struck numerous times in the Kherson region. The aggression killed two people and injured 11 others. In the morning, a 61-year-old local resident fell victim to a Russian "petal" mine in the village of Antonivka. As a result of the explosion, the man sustained serious injuries - an explosive wound and a foot injury. The victim was promptly taken to hospital.
