During the day, the Russian invaders conducted another massive attack on the Kherson region, attacking residential areas, critical infrastructure and civilian objects.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District Administration, more than 30 settlements came under enemy fire, including Stepanivka, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Beryslav, Kozatske, Osokorivka, Stanislav, Tokarivka, Antonivka, and Kherson itself.

The attacks targeted residential areas and critical infrastructure. A multi-storey building, 12 private houses, the Point of Unbreakability, a gas pipeline, an outbuilding, a bus and several cars were damaged.

According to Prokudin, six people were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

The press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration added that on the morning of January 21, a 61-year-old local resident fell victim to a Russian "petal" mine in the village of Antonivka. As a result of the explosion, the man sustained serious injuries - an explosive wound and a foot injury.

The victim was promptly taken to a hospital, where he is receiving the necessary medical care.

Earlier, a police car hit a mine while evacuating a sick 60-year-old resident of frontline Odradokamyanka.

Earlier, the Russian occupation army, which cynically terrorizes the population of the de-occupied Kherson region, recently remotely mined a section of one of the streets in the city's Dniprovskyi district with anti-personnel landmines"Petal".

Also in Kherson, police explosive technician Oleksandr Viter was killed during demining after Russian attacks . Before that, six employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, who were engaged in humanitarian demining in Kherson region, came under targeted fire from Russians and were killed. Two more SES employees, including a female paramedic, were injured.
