According tothe Mykolaiv City Council, the company is working with debtorsboth through pre-litigation procedures and in court. Measures taken include informing consumers, entering into restructuring agreements, filing lawsuits, and enforcing debt collection through the State Enforcement Service.
In May alone, courts issued 127 rulings to collect debts totaling more than 1.67 million hryvnias. Since the beginning of the year, the number of such rulings has reached 681, and the total amount recovered under them has exceeded 10.5 million hryvnias.
Through the State Enforcement Service, nearly 3 million hryvnias were successfully collected in May. In total, more than 10.2 million hryvnias have been recovered in this manner since the beginning of the year.
The company emphasizes that voluntarily repaying the debt or entering into a restructuring agreement allows customers to avoid additional costs associated with litigation and forced collection.
"Mykolaivoblteploenergo" urges consumers not to let debts accumulate and to settle payment issues in a timely manner, as the stable operation of the city’s heatingsystem depends on timely payments.
Earlier, it was reported that the government’s debt to the utility company “Mykolaivoblteploenergo” had reached a critical level—1 billion 105 million hryvnias. This amount represents compensation for the difference between the approved tariff and the economically justified tariff.
