Prosecutors have terminated agreements for the development of project documentation for the overhaul of the T-16-18 road, with a total value of more than UAH 5 million. This is the section between Rozdilna and Yeremiivka.

According to the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, these agreements were concluded in violation of budget legislation and could have resulted in unjustified spending of public funds.

It turned out that in 2022, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Odesa Oblast signed an agreement with a limited liability company to develop project documentation for the overhaul of the T-16-18 highway between Rozdilna and Yeremiivka.

However, the agreement was concluded without adequate financial support and budget allocations, and no work has actually been carried out since the signing. Nevertheless, over the course of three years, the parties repeatedly extended the agreement without sufficient legal grounds.

After the intervention of the Prosecutor's Office, the violations were eliminated by terminating the agreement.

Earlier, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Odesa region terminated the agreement with Avtomagistral-Pivden LLC on the overhaul of the transport interchange at km 426+320 near the village of Yeremiivka. The company is on the list of Ukravtodor's selected contractors that received the largest contracts during the Big Construction.

Recently, it became known that a base station worth almost UAH 70 million was planned to be built on Zmiinyi Island with public funds, but the prosecutor's office terminated the agreement.

Meanwhile, journalists from the Center for Public Investigations investigated which tenders in Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions were announced and canceled precisely because they were inappropriate during the full-scale invasion.
