The Kyiv District Prosecutor's Office of Odesa has filed a lawsuit to return a land plot in a residential area on Akademika Korolyova Street to the local community.
According to the prosecutor's office, it turned out that in 2020, a building was erected on a plot of more than 200 square meters without any permits.
Initially, its area was only 41 square meters, but later the owner unauthorizedly expanded the building five times to almost 200 square meters. He also arranged the premises for a service station.
Despite the fact that the land plot had not been officially allocated to anyone, the developer managed to register the ownership by providing the state registrar with a technical passport with false information that the building allegedly existed before 1991.
In this way, the land under a significant real estate object was illegally withdrawn from municipal ownership without a decision of the authorized body and in violation of the law.
The commercial court has now opened proceedings in the case and banned any registration actions in relation to the disputed building.
Earlier, investigators sent to court a case accusing a resident of Berezivskyi district of Odesa region of illegal appropriation of a layer of water fund land. The head of the Mykolaiv united community reported to the police that someone had illegally seized a plot of land behind one of the villages of the community, on the banks of the Chychyklia River, and dug a reservoir.
This is not the first time an artificial lake has been created without permits in Odesa Oblast. In February, in Bolhrad district, police brought to court the case of a farmer who had illegally created an artificial reservoir to irrigate his field.
