Over six thousand objects destroyed by enemy shelling restored in Kherson region

About 6,450 facilities damaged by hostilities and Russian shelling have been restored.

In total, more than 36,000 civilian objects have been damaged on the right bank. The Russian army continues to attack settlements in the region, shelling homes, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and administrative buildings.

A new commission has been established in the Kherson community to accept applications from Kherson residents for compensation for damaged or destroyed housing.

In Kherson, the first deputy chairman of the regional council, Yuriy Sobolevsky, was wounded by enemy shelling .

Vladyslav Voloshyn, a spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, denied the information spread on social media about the alleged landing of enemy subversive reconnaissance groups in Kherson. "The bridge that connects the mainland of the city and the Korabel neighborhood was damaged by the Russians, so this is logistics that is important for the civilian population. It is not important for the defense of the city.

In Kherson region, a businessman was detained for collaborating with the Russian occupiers and found guilty of collaboration. The court gave him a suspended sentence and ordered him to transfer 2 million hryvnias to support the Armed Forces.

In July 2025, the chairman of the Kherson Regional Council and his deputies received almost 140 thousand hryvnias in salary, while one of the deputies had been idle for more than three years. The leaders did not receive any additional payments or material assistance.

A former deputy from Crimea, who ran for the occupation Duma and glorified the Russian military, will be tried in Kherson region. He is charged with collaboration and justifying Russia's armed aggression.
