One dead and many wounded: the aftermath of the Russian attack in Kherson region

A civilian in Kherson region was killed and eight others were wounded as a result of Russian shelling over the past day.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District Administration, the invaders shelled 35 settlements in the de-occupied Kherson region over the past day.

According to the official, the Russian army attacked Kherson, Antonivka, Novodmitrivka, Mykilska, Mykhailivka, Tyahynyka, Beryslav, Tomyna Balka, Stanislav, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Sablukivka, Tomaryne, Havrylivka, Odradokamyanka, Bilozerka, Prydniprovske, Komyshany, Burgunka, Virivka, Vesele, Dudchany, Tokarivka, Tyahyanka, Sadove, Chervonyi Mayak, Olgivka, Novooleksandrivka, Kizomys, Kachkarivka, Monastyrske, Poniativka, Ivanivka, Zolota Balka and Lviv.

The shelling damaged private houses, outbuildings and cars.

In the morning, Russian drones attacked Antonivka, a suburb of Kherson. An 82-year-old local resident was injured as a result of the explosive drop. Doctors diagnosed her with explosive trauma and shrapnel wounds to the shoulder, leg and chest. The victim was hospitalized.

Later, Kherson MVA reported two more people were injured: a 34-year-old man in Kherson and a 69-year-old resident of Kindiika, who were also taken to the hospital.

Another drone strike in Antonivka injured a 78-year-old man. He sustained an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to his leg. He was hospitalized for medical care.

Kherson and the region are shelled daily by the Russian invaders. Thus, the Russian military carried out an artillery shelling of the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. A 75-year-old woman was killed when a shell hit a private house. In addition, the enemy opened fire on the village of Bilozerka in Kherson district. A 44-year-old man was killed and two men aged 45 and 48 were wounded as a result of the shelling. The invaders also cut off electricity to two communities.

Earlier, the Russian military attacked public transportation in Dniprovsky district with a UAV. As a result, three people were killed and wounded. Prior to that, the invaders dropped a munition on a civilian car from a drone in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, killing a woman.
