Odesa restoration tenders topped the ranking of the most expensive according to auditors

The State Audit Service of Ukraine has released its own ranking of the ten most expensive procurements for the restoration of civilian facilities affected by the Russian Federation's aggression announced last week, which was headed by two tenders from Odesa region.

According to the State Audit Service of Ukraine, these are two tenders with almost the same expected procurement value of over UAH 45 million.

The first is a tender announced by the Service for Infrastructure Restoration and Development in Odesa Oblast. It is a search for a contractor to carry out additional repairs to a nine-story building in Serhiivka damaged by the Russians. The expected value of the procurement is stated at UAH 45 million 955 thousand, and the auction, if held, is scheduled for December 3. The completion date for these works is set for December 31, 2025. It should be noted that earlier the Restoration Service planned to complete the repair of this building by the end of the year.

The nine-story building in Serhiivka, Odesa region, was destroyed on July 1, 2022. Then the Russians fired three X-22 missiles at the village - one of them hit the basement of the house. The explosion completely destroyed the first entrance, while the other two were severely damaged. 105 out of 106 apartments in the nine-story building were destroyed. Restoration of the building began on December 1, 2023.

The second one was announced by the Department of Municipal Economy of the Odesa City Council and concerns the search for a contractor to be paid for the restoration of the common property of an apartment building at 8-B Shevchenko Avenue in Odesa. The auction in the format of open bidding with special features will be held on December 2 with an expected purchase price of UAH 45 million 851.3 thousand.

The rating also includes a tender from Mykolaiv region. Regional Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in Sailing "Regional Yacht Club" - repair of the building of the Regional Yacht Club for sailing to replace windows, doors and arched transoms for UAH 2 million 722 thousand. This procurement is ranked ninth in the auditors' rating.
