The Odesa branch of the state enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority has started looking for a contractor to carry out routine repairs to berth 35 and its water supply networks.

The USPA published the announcement in the Prozorro e-procurement system.

The auction is scheduled for May 13 in the format of open bidding with special conditions. The expected value of the purchase is UAH 3 million 846 thousand.

The pier was damaged during a rocket attack by the Russian Federation on March 11, which partially limited its operation. The repair involves replacing damaged structural elements, restoring the infrastructure and ensuring its full functioning. The work is expected to be completed in 2025 without interrupting port operations.

A ballistic missile fired by the Russians at Odesa on the evening of March 11 damaged the Barbados-flagged MJ Pina and killed four Syrian citizens. The youngest victim was 18, the oldest was 24. Two more people were injured - a Ukrainian and a Syrian. They are being provided with the necessary assistance. At the time of the attack, the vessel was loading wheat for export to Algeria. Another vessel, berths, and grain storage facilities were also damaged.

On the night of March 12, 2025, the enemy fired three Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Crimea at Odesa and Kryvyi Rih, and attacked with 133 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of imitation drones. According to preliminary data, as of 9:30 a.m., 98 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones were confirmed downed. 20 enemy imitator drones were locally lost (without negative consequences).

The night before, an air attack on Odesa by Russian troops on the night of March 11 resulted in the burning of a children's toy warehouse, a residential building, and a fuel tank. The area of the fires in the city amounted to 2,780 square meters.
